Kylie Jenner and her on-again, off-again boyfriend, the rapper Tyga, have eschewed past relationship challenges, and just made one of the bigger leaps that a couple can: they’ve moved in together. Jenner is only 18, but moving in with a significant other even when it’s clear it’s not meant to be forever is a leap that we all make in our naivety of youth. Tyga, on the other hand, is 26, and likely has taken such a relationship risk before. Some guessed that Tyga’s not actually moving in Jenner officially, but is just crashing at her house.
Tyga clearly has other worries on his mind that may be clouding his judgment: financial woes, according to the fact he and ex-girlfriend Blac Chyna held a major three-estate sale last month for their former place of residence, selling extremely pricey items. The items reportedly ranged in asking price from $500 a piece to $1,200 a piece, and included a Ms. Pac-Man video arcade set, a marble table, an Egyptian statue, and all sorts of Tyga merchandise.
Chyna, who was sharing the house with Kardashian’s family member Rob, recently had $200,000 worth of cash and jewelry stolen. Tyga has been fighting a legal war over a home that he had rented and attempted to buy back in 2014: his landlord at the time confronted Tyga with a charge of $70,000 for unpaid rent. Tyga countered the argument with a breach of contract lawsuit. Also, last year, Tyga was accused by the state of California for owing $19,000 in back taxes from the years 2009, 2010, and 2011.
Get it together Tyga! Always crashing at his girlfriends’ place, never paying taxes or his own rent … good luck, Kylie.
