If you are looking to take in a movie this weekend, you may be checking out new releases. One of the movies that is due out this weekend is “Table 19.” “Table 19” is a romantic comedy staring Anna Kendrick. The cast also includes Lisa Kudrow, Craig Robinson, Stephen Merchant and Wyatt Russell.

The movie revolves around a wedding reception and the notion that all of the people at Table 19 are outcasts at the wedding. This is the table where they sat the people who the couple invited to the wedding, but really did not want to come. The lead role is played by Anna Kendrick. Her character, Eloise, is best friends with the bride. However, she recently ended her relationship with the brides brother, also the best man, which is how she got relinquished to this table. The rest of the movie is fairly predictable from there on out. The group bands together to encourage each other, persevere together and have a good time. And of course, there is a love story intertwined into the mix.

This movie has a stellar cast, but the jokes fall flat and really are not that funny. The whole storyline is also fairly predictable and exactly what you would expect. All in all, this is more a rental than a movie most people would pay to see in the theater. However, if you are bored and want to take in a new movie or you are a huge fan of predictable romantic comedies, this movie will at least hold your attention for an hour and a half.
