This movies stars two relatively unknowns named Tatiana Maslany and Tom Cullen. Their characters have a lot of emotional turmoil. Emily, played by Ms. Maslany, is a bipolar teacher and artist. Nickie, played by Mr. Cullen, is a cab driver who moved to the US from England years ago after his sister went missing He still carries around a lot of baggage and untied ends due to her disappearance and not knowing what happened to her. He can get violent and last out at times. And Emily, being bipolar, plays into all of this with her mood swings and erratic behavior. However, despite everything, they love each other.

The movie follows their twists and turns on their journey of love. At times you will root for them, at times you will want them to break up. However, you will fully become intertwined and immersed in the characters and be taken on an emotional rollercoaster.

The movie does a great job of bringing you into the world of the characters and developing them. However, the ending is a bit of a let down. There is a dramatic twist that you won’t see coming and there are some loose-ends that never get tied up and you never have the answers to. But, despite this, the movie is worth seeing and is a great way to spend an afternoon or evening if you enjoy this genre of film.
